1. The Bible
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice and is fully sufficient for all things pertaining to life and godliness (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
2. The Nature of God
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and coeternal, and they are the one true God (Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-14; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
We affirm the Athanasian Creed as a faithful expression of the doctrine of the Trinity, teaching that we worship one God in Trinity and Trinity in Unity, without confusion of persons or division of substance.
3. The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, buried, and rose again bodily on the third day. He ascended into heaven and will return in glory to judge the living and the dead (Matthew 1:23; John 1:1-14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11).
4. The Holy Spirit
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, and indwells and empowers believers for holy living and service. The Holy Spirit illuminates Scripture, produces spiritual fruit, and distributes spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church (John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11).
5. Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is a gift of God and cannot be earned by works. Those who repent and believe in Jesus Christ are justified, adopted as children of God, and receive the promise of eternal life (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10).
6. The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, and exists to glorify God, proclaim the gospel, and make disciples. The local church is an essential gathering of believers for worship, teaching, fellowship, and service (Ephesians 1:22-23; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:42-47).
7. The Ordinances
We believe in the two ordinances given by Christ:
Baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Christ (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4).
The Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice, to be observed regularly until His return (Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
8. The Return of Christ
We believe in the literal, bodily return of Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom. He will judge the living and the dead, and His reign will be everlasting (Acts 1:11; Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 21:1-4).
9. The Resurrection and Eternal Life
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved will inherit eternal life in the presence of God, while the lost will face eternal separation from Him (John 5:28-29; 1 Corinthians 15:20-22; Matthew 25:46).
10. The Final Authority
We affirm that all matters of faith, doctrine, and practice must be rooted in Scripture. No human tradition, opinion, or authority supersedes the Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Colossians 2:8).
